About the Client
Gallagher Mobility Aids is one of the top suppliers of equipment to disabled people - with outlets in Hampshire and Dorset. They approached us after two years of trying to find a suitable web development provider but without success. The problem? Some disability equipment qualifies for VAT exemption - and they hadn't been able to find a web developer capable of programming an e-commerce site for the multiple permutations of VAT exemption that are possible. Only some customers qualify for VAT exemption and only some products qualify - so it's possible for a qualifying customer to buy some items that are exempt and some that aren't. Or for someone to buy some qualifying products on behalf of someone qualifying for some exemptions...
