About the Client
Student Survive is a major new shopping and content portal site for students. The site is the brainchild of a Hampshire-based marketing professional - and aims to attract large volumes ofprospective and existing students via its informative advice content and social-networking style messaging facility - and monetise them by promoting tens of thousands of student-related products from affiliate merchants.
What we did for Them
- Developed a fully content-managed information portal, with hundreds of pages of content articles
- Developed a messaging 'hub' for students to communicate with relatives back home through the site - similar to a 'Facebook' style messaging console
- Built an online shopping portal, which feeds products direct from the affiliate networks
- There are now tens of thousands of student-related products updated from affiliate merchant datafeeds
- Student Survive earns a commission on each sale generated via the affiliate shopping site.
- Developed a secure 'agent account' section for the site's student employees
